At SHOT Show 2022, SCCY Firearms announced their popular striker-fired DVG1, is available in a red-dot-ready configuration. The 10 plus one capacity, compact carry pistol, will also be available in all the popular colors that SCCY is recognized for.
Ten, eye catching colors are sure to bring customer attention to any dealer’s showcase. Customers can choose from pink, purple, SCCY blue, lime green, orange, crimson, white, flat dark earth, sniper gray, and black. No matter which color frame you choose all SCCY pistols are available with either a Black Nitride™ or stainless slide.
Previously shipped with iron sights only or as a red a red dot package the DVG1 is now more versatile to the consumer. The new red-dot-ready cut maintains the rear sight on the slide so customers who are thinking about adding an optic, or need more time to save up, can still use their pistol.
SCCY Marketing’s Chris Cerino said “We’ve moved the red dot cut forward, allowing us to maintain the rear iron sight on the slide. This allows time for the end-user to take time in choosing a preferred optic. Continuing with footprints of the past, the red-dot-ready DVG1 uses the Shield cut.” A polymer plate and screws fill the void for aesthetics until an optic is mounted.
