The Riton spotting scope played an integral role in my finding a nice mule deer buck on this past Novembers hunt. Using the Riton atop a good vantage point I was able to spot the buck at the upper end of a long desert canyon from about 600 yards out.
This allowed me to plan a stalk from my glassing location and close the distance to about 300 yards. Taking a shot from a prone position the buck fell with a single shot from my Christenson Mesa FFT in .300 Win Mag. The shot was spot on and the deer went down almost in his tracks.
